YES…we absolutely recommend Misti and Colin! They were quick to respond to our inquiry and answered all our questions. We were so nervous about planning our renewal in another country and how the entire process would work, but Misti and Colin made us feel so comfortable with them…and that’s before we even met them. They asked all the right questions to make sure they understood what we wanted for our special day. For example…did we want photos of us getting ready for the renewal? Make-up, hair, wedding dress questions? All the things you really don’t think about with everything else you have to do.
They provided exemplary customer service and are extremely professional and organized. They stayed in communication with us throughout our planning before our arrival. And followed-up with us once we arrived in Playa to reconfirm our appointment. They were at our hotel before our scheduled appointment to coordinate with our officiate and help decide which beach would be the most beautiful and private! When we met them in the lobby of the hotel, we all greeted each other with happy smiles and warm embraces…as if we had known each other for years! Their experience and expertise as photographers, coupled with their exemplary customer service make them the photographer you want to use!

Once I got my husband to agree to a one year anniversary photo shoot in Playa del Carmen, where we were married, I started searching for a reasonably priced photographer in the area who would make us feel comfortable and would understand the type of photos I was hoping to get out of the shoot. I found Bohemia Photography, checked out their portfolio and sent off an email. I heard back from Misti shortly after and booked with confidence.
Misti and Colin met us on the day of and were so friendly and easy going. They helped us feel comfortable and relaxed and we had a fun time during the shoot around town. I love the photos we received back only a few weeks later. Exactly what I hoped for.

We are soooo happy we went with Bohemia Photography as our choice for our wedding photographer! We did a lot of research on choosing the right people to work with for our wedding day! It's a little scary booking vendors from another country! We ended up choosing Bohemia Photography because of the friendliness of communication from Misty and Collin (the owners), their prices were great and of course their images are gorgeous and fit the style I was envisioning. From the first moment to the last, Misty was there to help wherever she could and ease some of the stress I was going through planning all of this. By the time we actually met on our wedding day, it was already like she was an old friend! She gave me everything from make-up advice beforehand to helping me decide on our other vendors. She even helped me with my packing list - I was that frazzled! Our wedding was beautiful and they captured the day perfectly. After we were home, I received my images in beautiful packaging which was a nice touch. I would not hesitate to suggest them to everyone I know, in fact I already have. Thank you guys!!

We could not ask for a better experience, from the moment of first contact until we received our photos. Misti and Colin were very responsive and provided us with all the information that we needed and were continuously on top of planning for our wedding day. They reached out to us with advice to make sure that everything went smoothly. On the day of the wedding they arrived early and made us and everyone in our party feel very comfortable! They had so much energy even though it felt like a 100 degrees outside, and showed us some of the hidden gems at our resort where they took our pictures. We got our pictures sooner than expected and were so pleased with all the beautiful photos. I highly recommend Bohemia Photography.

We can't stop looking at our wedding photos! Bohemia Photography did such a great job before, during and even after our wedding (choosing prints and canvases etc. for what to put on our walls!) Very professional and confident about what they do, and yet laid back enough to meet us for a beer to get better acquainted the day before our wedding! They made the whole process very easy, and captured our day perfectly. I really felt like they had known us for years and their humor throughout the day helped our personality to come through the photos. If you're hesitating on who to choose - you can just stop here. I’m not quite sure how to start off this review other than to say Misti and Colin are truly AMAZING!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. My sister-in-law helped me find them and they were truly a godsend! My husband and I were having some difficulty in finding vendors for various things and Misti was so helpful with suggestions for everything. We had a last minute issue with our wedding coordinator for the church and a friend of there’s in the industry stepped in to help us out at the last minute! I can’t express what a relief this was! Misti was wonderful with communication. Her e-mails were prompt and she was helpful with suggestions. She was wonderful about relieving my nerves, especially since we had never been to the location we were getting married in. She offered to meet up with us the day before to meet and go over logistics. Our rehearsal we were supposed to have didn’t work out like it was supposed to (miss communication with the church). So on the fly Misti and Colin took us to an alternative place with a big open space so we could practice walking down the mock aisle! This made for a much cooler rehearsal! We had the most wonderful wedding, truly the best day of our lives and Misti and Colin helped document it so perfectly. I cried when we saw our photos and wedding video. They were absolutely gorgeous!!! If there were one thing that’s a must for anyone getting married in addition to your photos, I would say it’s a wedding video! The video was perfect and such an incredible way to show our beautiful day! It was nice to show family and friends who couldn’t be there what it was like via the video! Misti and Colin were so instrumental to our wedding day and even after they have been so great to work with. They are professional, kind, and so unique. I’ll say it one last time; they were a godsend to my husband and I. It only takes a trip around our home to see the beauty in there work! We loved/love Bohemia Photography and would recommend them to anyone looking for someone so special on their wedding day!

We hired Misti and Colin of Bohemia last year for our wedding at Now Jade in Playa del Carmen. Since our resort did a lot of the planning for us, choosing the right photographer was the hardest part. I think we shopped every photographer in the area, but the friendly emails and willingness to speak with us over the phone (not to mention, the beautiful photos on their site) before we booked, helped our decision.We received a lovely gift from them before our wedding and they were attentive every step of the way. They really went above and beyond what we expected from a wedding photographer. When we got our photos, we couldn't have been happier. They did a great job!I would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Mayan Riviera!

Chris and I were married at Secrets Maroma on the beautiful Maroma beach between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Colin and Misti are a dynamic duo with so much talent and loads of personality. They have incredible experience with destination wedding photography and vacation photography. They helped us to design an itinerary for our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. Had it not been for their experience with working at resorts, we probably would have been off schedule. We were so happy that we listened to them rather than the resort when it came to scheduling hair and make-up and bridal party agendas. They made our day extremely special, designing a "first look" session with Chris and I, so that we could share an intimate moment alone before the ceremony. It was perfect. They came to the resort early to scout for ideas on where and how to shoot us in various lighting. Their professionalism was very much appreciated and we can't wait to return to Mexico for our first anniversary to have them do another round of pictures for us. The best part was that we received our pictures incredibly fast and were able to have them ready for a hometown reception for friends and family that could not attend. We would 100% recommend Bohemia Photography for any event, and especially weddings!
